On your left
you will see a sign advertising White Oaks as an old
mining town and on the right is 349 and a tiny White
Oaks 9 miles sign. Turn here, go over the cattle guard
and the railroad tracks and keep on going into White
Oaks...

There is not much in White Oaks
and the only open establishment is the
No Scum Allowed
Saloon.
Go past the saloon and then past
the Fire Department. Go over the cattle guard and here
the pavement ends.
| On your
right you will see White Oaks Canyon Road.
Once on White Oaks
Canyon Road, if you look up to your
right...
You will see the red roof of Beyond
Belief’s cabin on the mesa.

 |
Go past a
little tin shack and then go slow (not that you have
much choice considering the road) because a little ways
past that tin shack is the driveway to Beyond Belief.
There is a concrete slab over an arroyo there.
If you fly
into El Paso, TX then follow the map to Carrizozo and
then follow these directions.
Anyone coming
from any place other than the Albuquerque or El Paso, TX
airports can figure out how to get here. If you weren’t
intelligent you wouldn’t be coming out here for this
great adventure in the first place.
 |
The best plan though is to meet us at
the No Scum Allowed Saloon. Then we could have a nice
friendly beverage together.
You must call us with your
approximate arrival time before you get into the
mountains because there is no reception for cell phones
here…or much of anything else come to think of it...
We look forward to your
visit and can’t wait to meet you because we
believe that strangers are nothing more than
prospective friends.
